The Greatest Day Ever :) 20 Years in the Making

Ok, so I know most of you know how much I have always loved the New Kids on the Block and for some of you, you can even remember back in the day when I was a bit obsessed with them. Well, it has truly come full circle. Last night my best friend Tracy and I went to the New Kids concert at the AAC, and it was awesome!!! Hence...."The Greatest Day Ever." (haha)

Here is the run down of our "Greatest Day Ever." Tracy and I bought the 5* VIP tickets which basically got us a pre-party with the New Kids or meet & greet, free New Kids goody bag, food, drinks, and no line shopping for New Kids stuff. But really, we just wanted them for the meet & greet. We get there around 4:00 and wait for them to let us into the pre-party. We go in, check our cameras, and get our goody bags, tickets, etc... We each bought a program and got a drink and found a table close to the entrance of where we would actually meet them. We made friends with a few of the girls and saw a girl we had met online on the NKOTB fan website. Yes, we are in the fan club again!!

They started getting us in line for the picture and meet & greet time; we were to be the 3rd group to go. We were happy cause we knew they would be in a good mood since not very many girls would have been to see them yet and they wouldn't be tired of taking pictures and hugging yet. Tracy all of a sudden got emotional and started crying, it was sweet, and so I tried to calm her a little but it got me a little emotional too.

Now, it was our time to go and I was freaking out and shaking alot. As soon as that curtain opened I saw Jordan and I was truly in another world. It was so surreal, and yes I know that sounds funny considering he was on the "Surreal Life." Anyways, I saw two girls right in front of him so I went around the back side of him and slinked right up to his right side. I slid my arm under his jacket and grabbed his waist and just held on tight. He turned to me and said "Hey" and we hugged and while I hugged him I kissed him on the neck. Yes..... I kissed his neck! It was great! He said "Hey girl" I said "I'm sorry I just couldn't help it" He said "that's allright" and gave me a smile. Some of my lipstick was left on his neck, hahahaha.

I turned to Donnie cause I knew Tracy was with him and I tapped him on the shoulder and he looked at me and I pointed to Tracy and said "That's you're girl, right there." He said "I know we just kissed." Hahahahahaha!!!! It was great! We took our group picture and I put my hand back under Jordan's jacket on his waist and the other one on his peck muscle, hehe. I hugged him one more time before moving on and said thank you for doing this like 5 times, he was so nice and sweet to all the girls.

I moved to Donnie and since he was giving away kisses I decided I needed one too, so I grabbed his face right by his chin and kissed him really quick, hehehe! He gave a sweet smile and we hugged and I thanked him too. I then moved to Danny and hugged and thanked him and he said no thank you for letting us do this again. Then I went to Jon and hugged and thanked him, he was kinda quiet, but gave a good hug. Then they were leading us out and I realized I didn't get to hug Joe, I didn't even see him till I was walking out. Guess I'll have to get him next time :) We then had a freak out session back outside in the party and told each other our stories, I'm sure we would have looked a little bit mental to someone who was not a New Kid fan, oh well.

We soon left the party and got a hot dog and found our seats, 5th row! I was very happy with our seats. The show...was...awesome! I loved every moment. We screamed like little girls again, it was soooo fun! Those boys sure know how to perform to a bunch of 30 yr old women, thank you Jordan. Donnie and Joe had a few funny bits between songs, very cute. They played old and new songs, and they had so much fun on stage.

After the concert we walked around trying to find their buses or them but were about to leave when we saw a bunch of girls lined up around a railing so we parked and joined them. Soon Jon & Jordan's bus was heading out and I said lets follow them and Tracy seemed hesitant at first but then we got in the car and followed them. I thought I saw Danny in there too so I figured they were all in there, but she knew better, she only saw Jon & Jordan. So after a few minutes of driving I realized why she was hesitant to leave, she wanted to wait for Donnie. I felt a little guilty but then she seemed ok. So yes, she deserves the friend of a lifetime award for leaving to chase Jordan for me. Thank you Tracy (Were gonna find Donnie for ya)

We follow the bus to the Westin in Irving on Esters, jump out of the car, and run over. Jordan and Jon get out and Jordan signs autographs and takes a picture with everyone, there were about 20 of us there. When I got up to him he said "Weren’t you at the Meet & Greet earlier tonight" I was like "Yes I was" He remembered me......... I was shocked!! So we took our picture and he singed my CD. It was truly an awesome night! I finally got to meet my Jordan! Here is our adventure. Can't wait till St.Louis & Kansas City. And yes, we have 5* VIP for those ones too. hehehehe:) Were crazy, I know.

Aidan's first wedding

A little over a week ago Aidan was in his first wedding. It was no ordinary wedding either, it was a traditional Scottish wedding in a Castle with full on Scottish garb and everything. Aidan was literally the cutest thing in the whole world that day. I was so proud, he did so good wearing the outfit and walking down the isle. His cousin Seci was one of the flower girls in the wedding.

Look at my sweetpea!

Ice Cream w/ Mommy & Daddy

There is this cute little old timey ice cream shop in Denton called Beth Marie's. We love to take Aidan there and he loves that place. He always gets lime sherbert. Here's some pics of us having family time.

I love Water Slides!

Here are a few pics of Aidan at a friends birthday party. They rented a water slide for the kids. WOW, Aidan would slide down and go right back up over and over. He would barely catch his breath from the last slide and he'd be up those stairs again. He had a blast.

(Apparantly Gammie is going to buy him one of those, at least that's what he kept saying, haha :)

Golfing at Jack's

Here are just a few pics of Aidan and his friend Jack golfing a couple of weeks ago. They played forever and at times looked like real golfers, it was so cute listening to them talk about the game and where the ball went and cheer each other when they got it in the hole.
