Gammie & Popa Rock!

When Tracy & I were off on our New Kids Cruise, Aidan got to stay with Gammie & Popa. Boy did he have a good time! He helped Popa in the yard, He bungee'd, he made friends with Gabe (a little boy across the street from Gammie & Popa's), painted a birdhouse, swam at Gabe's pool, went fishing, he went to Chuck E Cheese, went on Merry go Rounds, and to the beach. (of course) A couple of them I am in, it was before we left for the cruise.
When my mom picked Tracy & I up from the dock, I got in the car and hugged Aidan, he said "Mommy, I did not miss you". Guess that means he had a great time. Ha!
I love the last picture!

New Moon Trailer, WOW!

SS NKOTB 2009

For those of you who did not know, Tracy & I went on the New Kids on the Block Cruise May 15-18. To say we had a blast is a major understatement! We were on a boat with our favorite 5 guys (lol) and about 1900 other women. Ha!!! There were deck parties, theme nights, concerts, NKOTB family fued, Q & A with the guys, photo opps, oh and NKTV. Yup, that's right, and entire TV channel with nothing but New Kids. If they offered that on regular cable I would be watching it all the time. We only slept about 8 hours the entire trip but we didn't care. We didn't even go to bed the last night.
We stayed on the same floor as the guys (New Kids), their families and crew. That was pretty kewl. We were just a few doors down from Joe's daddy. (They call him Daddy Mac, he is so cute. A 80 something yr old Boston Irish man, and so sweet to all us girls)
We saw some of the girls we had met a previous NK events or concerts and listened to lots of NK music, since it was playing on the boat practically all the time. It was just so much fun, I loved every minute! So glad we went.

My Little Boy is 4!!

Sorry it has been forever since I updated my blog, tax season you know.

Anyhoo, Aidan turned 4 this week. I can't believe it!!! How did that happen so fast??? I always remember my mom saying things like, "they grow up so fast" and "I remember when you were just a little baby." Now I sooooo understand how she felt those times. Don't get me wrong I love watching him grow and learn new things but it's just so bittersweet.

So... here are a few pics from his birthday party this past weekend. He wanted to have his party at Chuck E Cheese. He saw another kid having one there and he must have rememered when I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday this year. It was a good time! He was a wild man, ha.

Oh, and a big thank you to his half brother, Tyler and all his uncles for winning him over 1200 tickets. He got a really kewl light sabor.

Ahhh Balloons... It's the Simple Things

So, we went to dinner at Chili's (I know...but it's right now the street and easy) and our server brings Aidan a balloon after dinner. I don't know what it is about balloons and kids but they are a great combination. Aidan thanked her like 10 times and proceeded to jump up and down in front of all the other tables around us, it was too funny.

Ok, so we get home and get ready for bed and Daddy & Aidan make up a game with the balloon. Daddy holds the balloon while Aidan has the other end and they pull against each other until Daddy thinks it's time to let go and it hits Aidan in the head. This was hilarious to him. :) They do this for like 30 minutes while I take pictures and we laugh at Aidan laughing. Sometimes it's the simple things.

Christmas Wrap Up

Ok, so... Here are a few pics from Christmas. We went to Mat's mom's on Christmas Eve. Aidan and Seci were so cute opening their gifts. They were trying to show each other their gifts every time they opened a new one and all it sounded like was alot of screaming of Aidannnnnn & Seciiiiiii. It was hilarious!
Christmas morning was at home of course, my mom was here, so that was great! Aidan truely understood Santa Clause this year and was so curious about Santa eating the cookies he left out for him. That ended soon though when he surveyed all his presents. Ha!
Later that day we went to my aunt Judy's house (Auntie Jewy's) as Aidan says. He opened more gifts there and played all day with the other kids. Aidan got way to many toys but he does love them all. He has been playing non-stop for days now.
