Santa Clause aka: (Santee Cyause) that's how Aidan says it:)

On Friday we took Aidan to see Santa at the mall. Surprisingly there was no one in line so as soon as Aidan saw him he bolted down the pathway into his arms. It was totally cute and the Santa was super sweet to him He told Santa that he wanted a black car, more train tracks for Percy, & treats. Haha! I love the things kids say.

Weekend with Seci

Last weekend we enated our "kid exchange program" with my brother & sister-in-law (Marty & Nuvia) so that we could each have a free night without kids. We had Seci on Friday night and they had Aidan on Saturday night. These two are such a pair when they get together, it is too funny to listen to them interact. We all had lunch together on Sunday. It was a great weekend.

Amber's 30th

Ok, so Amber turned 30 this year (wow) but since she lives in Hawaii we couldn't celebrate with her till she came back in town. We went to my aunt Brenda's new house in Forney after the Thanksgiving holidays and decided to incorporate a birthday party for her at the same time since so many of the family members would be there. We had a great time playing games and eating, cause of course that's what you do when you get together with family...eat, ha!

Girls Night In.

This past friday we had a "Girls Night In" at my friend Lorie's house. We all brought our favorite wine and a food item and sat around like hens chatting it up! Some girls got a little crazy, hehe, but it was a great night. Here's a few pics from the night.

I just thought this picture was cute. Not sure who took it but they must of thought it would be funny to get a butt shot pic, haha!

New Kids Road Trip Kansas City 11/11/08

Ok, so here is my last blog for my New Kids concert road trip experience. :(
The second night of our road trip we went to Kansas City. We rented a car and drove from St. Louis to Kansas City. We had fun listening to their music in the car and talking about the night before. It would have been fun to record our conversations in the car to have for the future. We were cracking each other up talking about our new kid boys, some of which would not have been appropriate for underage ears, hehe!

Ok, on to the Meet & Greet. We get to the venue and it is raining and cold and we had to wait outside for a bit which stunk but oh well. We get into the room, which was super small and had to fit about 200 girls. So.... needless to say it was cramped. We were one of the first ones in so we got a table and we were gonna be in the second group to see them Yay! By now we are experts and knowing how to get what we want, and people would ask us about how things would go so we felt pretty cool that we knew the ropes, haha! We also meet up with some girls that we had met in Dallas and on the New Kid boards and hung out with them.

When it was our turn to go in and meet them (again) we realized there was only 5 girls in our group. SCORE!! More face time with the guys!! Yes! I of course immediately go to Jordan and give him yet another hug and he said "Hey it's you, you're back" As we were hugging told him this is our last night of our New Kids road trip. He said "Awww" and gave me a sad face then smiled. I thanked him for doing this and he said "You're welcome, we love it" I then hugged Jon and then turned to see Joe and he said "Hey I know you" I hugged him and told him the same thing about it being the end of our New Kids road trip.

It was time for the picture and I stood in between Jordan & Joe and had my arms around both of their shoulders. I had heard that Jordan sometimes likes to say funny things or do a funny pose during the pics so I asked him what silly thing we were gonna say. He said "Oh you wanna say something funny ok we can do that" He didn't say anything at first but then right before the picture he said "Balls" Hahahahahaha! I just laughed. Then for the second picture I noticed that both of my arms were shaking so I had to tell myself to calm down. Right before the second pic Jordan said "Sweaty Balls" hahaha, nice huh! Joe and I laughed and i said "did you just say sweaty balls?" So thank you Jordan for making it interesting!

This Meet & Greet was the shortest, I think they were running behind so after the pic they started asking us to leave, I was like "nooooooooooo, not yet" So I hugged Jordan again and said thank you and walked over to hug Danny too. I then saw Donnie and he said "There she is" so they did remember us from the night before. Yey!! We hugged and I thanked him and told them all to have a good show. I was the last to walk out and as I was I heard Jordan say "Hey girl" so I turned and he was looking at my butt. Now I'm not saying I have a good but or anything like that but it did make me feel good. Who knows if he was just being nice, who cares. It made my night, heck it made my year!!! haha All I could think to say back was "Heeeeeyyyyy" Hopefully I didn't sound retarded, it all happened so fast that that's just what came out of my mouth. Oh well, it is what it is.

By this time we had not got our tickets yet so Tracy went to get them and as she was coming back in the room she had kind of a weird look on her face so I was worried about our seats. She then held up her hand and made the number 2 with them. I ran over and hugged her and was like YES!!!!! 2nd row, awesome. We weren't exactly sure where on second row they were so we were anxious to get inside and find out. When we got inside we found our seats and they were very close and on the side we wanted. We were sooooooo happy, this was the closest seats we had gotten for all of our concerts. Before the concert started i kept thinking how this was our last one and started to get a little sad but told myself not to cry yet. Yes.... we cry over these boys, we can't help it. We have loved them since we were 13.
The show starts and we told each other that we were gonna soak in as much as we could so I took less pictures and just tried to remember every moment. I'm glad I did. Since we were so close we had lots of eye contact with the guys. I loved it. One time Jordan looked right at me and pointed and smiled, Tracy had just turned so she saw it and I turned to her and she said "I know I saw it", and gave me a big smile I screamed a little and teared up but I held it together. haha! We ran to the "B" stage during "Dirty Dancing, 2 in the morning, & Tonight." We were right up under them so we got a lot of good pics. We came back to our seats after that to watch the rest. When they came out to do the last song we looked at each other and kinda gave a sad face cause we knew it was almost the end of our adventure. I hardly took any pics at the end and just watched Jordan. It was sooo awesome!!!

After they left the stage we sat down and started crying. I know that sounds funny to some people but we couldn't help it. We were very happy we did this and enjoyed every minute, it was just bitter sweet. We pulled it together and left. We decided not to stalk their buses or anything, we had done enough and were happy.

All in all I had the best time ever! So glad I got to do this with my best friend who loves them just as much as I do.

Thank You, Thank You Thank You New Kids. Truely a great experience!!!!

New Kids Road Trip St. Louis 11/10/08

So here is the rundown of our New Kids mini road trip. My friend Tracy and I have been counting down the days till this trip and boy did it prove to be greatness. We left Dallas monday morning and flew to St. Louis for the NKOTB concert that night. We bought 5* VIP for this show as well as all the shows we attended. I'll skip ahead to the Meet & Greet. We arrive at the M & G and get in the lines to get our goody bags and check in our cameras. They lead us up stairs to a great bar & lounge and we get a drink and sit and scope out the place for where the pictures will be taken. We were to be the first group to go in so we were super excited. We had some cute shirts made for the boys so we were ready!! We line up for the M&G and we were first in line which meant we were gonna be the first to meet them that night. (That was a little nerve racking) We slowly walk up to the curtains and we are holding hands. Ha ha! We walk in and there is Jordan!!!!!! He notices that we are holding hands and gives us a silly look. :) He was wearing a grey thin shirt so you could see all his beautiful muscles. He looked awesome! (Love me some Jordan) I walk straight up to him and give him a big bear hug. He hugged back really good too. The night before I had found this old key chain that had a pic of my friend and I from when we were 13 and took pictures with a cardboard cut out of Jordan at Six Flags. So.... I had to show it to him, I know...dork. He said "oh wow" and just laughed. I hugged him again before I moved on to Joe. I missed hugging Joe in Dallas so I had to get some Joey love that night. OK... I am a Jordan girl and always have been, but.... Ladies..... Joey is HOT. His eyes are so beautiful. I made my way over to him and gave him a big hug. I told him that I saw them in Dallas but that we didn't get to hug. I jokingly said "I know you were heart broken" He looked at me kinda funny then laughed. I was trying to pull off being funny but I think I spoke so fast that it took a few seconds for it to register to him what I had actually said. He had a hat on and his eyes were just soooo blue. We were just holding each others arms as we talked it was great. I had him read my shirt and he liked it. I will post a picture of it, but just in case you can't read it, it said FRONT - "Face Time", BACK - "I'm ready for some grown Jordan" at the top and "I'll get the lights, you set up the camera..." on the bottom. hehe:)
After Joe I walked back over to Jordan and we took our picture. I was on his right side and had one hand on his chest and the other on half of his butt. Yes.... I said his butt. My friend said just do it, so I did. I wanted to grab the whole thing but I couldn't. Half of it was good enough. He didn't say anything so I just left it there. HAHA!I hugged Jordan again and told him he needed to read my shirt so I turned around and he started to read it out loud. He traced the word with his fingers as he read. Danny was standing next to him and they both laughed after reading. Jordan said "Ohhhhh" and laughed. I then walked over to Donnie and gave him a side hug, he had so many girls around him so I didn't get a full hug. I told him I would see him tomorrow. I went back over to Jordan and told him I would see him the next night in Kansas City he said "OK we'll see ya tomorrow" I hugged Joe one more time before we walked out. I felt like we got the most time with the boys this night, it was great!!
We got back to our table and started disscussing our experiences with each other and screaming a little bit. After all the groups had gone through, Joe and Donnie came out and started interacting with us girls. Joe got on the megaphone and Donnie wallked around signing CD's, Shirts, whatever. He came right by where we were sitting and so I gave him my CD to sign by his picture. Tracy didn't have hers handy and he was signing so fast that she threw down her ticket and he signed the back. He then walked through the middle of the room signing away. We lined up behind the ropes just to get another glimpse of him walking by. By this time I had lost Tracy, she had walked down to the end of the line where he would exit.... SMART. I found her down there, she was trying to get a hug or kiss or her shirt signed, whatever she could get, but she got pushed back. I had walked further past her know so when Donnie came by I asked him to sign my shirt and said "You have to sign my friends" He said "go get her". I yelled for Tracy to come here and pulled her over. I told Donnie "she loves you" He said "I know I love her too" and signed her shirt too. Then he leaned over and kissed her in front of everyone!!!! Haha, It was great! Some girl was like "Hey". She felt so good and was so happy.
After they left we got our tickets and walked downstairs to go to the concert. We had 9th row for this show which was further back that the Dallas show but, I'm not gonna complain. Of course the concert was great, Jordan was HOT and so was JOE!!!!! They just put on such an entertaining show. We met some people that sat behind us, it was a girl and guy. The guy bought her the tickets and they weren't even dating, SWEET! We told them how much they would love the show and several time during the show I turned to watch them and they were having fun, Yes.... even the guy was. At the end he said it was a really good show.
After the concert we walked out to where their buses were parked and waited for a while but it was rainiy and cold and nothing was happening so we decided to go back to the hotel. All in all, it was an awesome night!!!! I loved the meet & greet and the concert was soooooo good and fun. Could not have asked for a better night, and we had the next night to look forward to in Kansas City.!!!!!!! :)
Pictures to come soon.

Cupcake Time

When Gammie was in town her and Aidan decided to make cupcakes. Aidan even got to crack the eggs into the mix. He had a great time. Aidan & Gammie were having so much fun that Daddy & Mommy got involved too.
